This victorian inspired skirt was crafted from a 1950s skirt, finished with contrasting black velveteen bands that create an 1890s feel in a 50s-era length.

It has a tall fitted waistband, knife-pleats all round, and six buttoned bands across the front. Ladies' size 7 to 8 measurements waist 26. 5 length 26.

75 inches era 1950s skirt & fabric contemporary alteration label none, neatly made by hand the skirt was originally a dress from dynasty hong kong materials saffron yellow silk brocade with a rustling floweret pattern, thin and opaque in a beautiful reflective weave closure center front self buttons & buttonholes, waist to hem, with hook/eye at waist condition good condition detail very wearable, has subtle beige liquid marks here and there to the front skirt, these are not easily perceived unless inspected closely as they are obscured by the silk's reflectivity and pattern a few scant threadbare hints to the hem the skirt was originally a dress and the velveteen was a recent alteration washing instructions dry clean please note: all measurements (bust waist hip) are the maximum body measurements that will fit the item. These measurements already have ease subtracted and they are not actual fabric widths. To get actual fabric widths add two inches at the bust one inch at the waist and two inches at the hip.
